ENGINE GUARDIAN OVERHEATING ALARM FAHRENHEIT WATCHDOG
Displays your true engine temperature and If the engine overheats(alarm set point), the Temp controller will start beeping also visual guide HHH on the controller screen intermittently to warn the driver.
The heat sensor simply fits like a washer under any suitable bolt that is close to the cylinder head or engine block like under a tappet cover bolt or thermostat housing bolt or similar. If you want to check the radiator temp, you can connect Temperature Sensor to the upper radiator hose too. The sensor detects changes so quickly, drivers can see their engine temperature rise and fall degree by degree (with 0.1-degree resolution) as they drive in varying traffic and road conditions.
you don't even need to know your engine's temperature specifications to set the overheating alarm. You simply note the highest temperature your engine reaches during normal driving, then set the audible alarm to go off at a few degrees higher. This controller can be set to alarm at any temperature from -22 ~ 572 °F (-30 ~ 300 °C).
The controller can also use to monitor the temperature of Air Cooled Engines, Transmissions, Gearboxes, Transfer Boxes & Wet Exhausts in fact anything up to 572 °F ( 300 °C) for professional racing cars and It can be fitted by any handyman. The main unit fits under the dash (Compact size - 75 (W) x 86 (H) x 35 (D) mm, plus mounting tabs. The power just connects to 12V DC by wire.
The Controller has an overheating buzzer and the flasher alarm also has a relay output too and you can connect the output to any device that you need to run when you have emergency overheating like, control the extra coolers by your controller. so if your car has two cooler or you installed 2 extra coolers, you can set one of the coolers to kick lower temperatures to give you stable control over your temperature.
This system can help to prevent overheating due to the:
- Coolant loss
- Hose leaks
- Malfunctioning thermostat
- Blockage in the radiator or radiator hose and cap
- water pump failure
-Oil system problem
- Airflow restriction
